I'm Simon Small, Executive Planning Director at Visual Jazz Isobar.
I'm lucky enough to lead the strategy team at one of the best creative agencies in Australia, Visual Jazz Isobar. I work on key clients and oversee all strategy work nationally. We have the largest digital strategy team in the country. The team is made up of planners, consumer analysts, data analysts & community managers.
We do broad digital brand strategy & campaign planning through to comprehensive email, search & social media research, strategy and management. We are developing the process and methodology from the ground up which means weâre able to craft quality thinking that's 100% made for the current digital world. Itâs not all roses though, as most of what we're doing is new for the industry.
Since I've been at Visual Jazz Isobar we've worked on some of Australia's best brands like Holden, David Jones, Target, K-Mart, LendLease (Delfin), Medibank, Jetstar & Coles. We've spent most of our time working on strategy & insights around social, mobile, large websites, campaigns & digital media, search, digital content.
Outside of work I've been involved in a couple of business ventures, like Melbourne Bar Guide, Know Ballyhoo, Rotary, Love Digital, a founder of Social Media Club Melbourne (#smcmelb @smcmelb) and more recently the head lecturer for AdSchool's Digital Strategy course.
